ADCP Systems by Rowe Technologies Inc.

SeaWATCH ADCP

The Rowe Technologies SeaWATCH product family is the most versatile self-contained Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) and represent the industry state-of-the-art in acoustic Doppler technology. The compact form factor, powerful electronics and robust signal processing, provide a versatile platform capable of producing precise current profile measurements over extended ranges.

The product comes in three different frequencies; 300 kHz, 600 kHz, and 1200 kHz, and is available in different depth package options – 300 m, 3000 m, and 6000 m.

SeaPROFILER ADCP

The Rowe Technologies SeaPROFILER product family of direct-reading Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) represent the industry state of the art in acoustic Doppler technology. The compact form factor, powerful electronics and robust signal processing, provide a versatile platform capable of producing precise current profile measurements over extended ranges.

Each unit in the family leverage a core, common set of electronics in a flexible form factor. This combined with multiple packaging options [either horizontal or vertical electronics placement] provides for a cost-effective and extremely capable instrument to address a wide variety of ocean- ographic applications.

The SeaPROFILER ADCP’s are well suited for real-time current profiling applications such as coastal monitoring, where a bottom- mounted or surface-deployed configuration is used with a hard-wired communications and power source. The ability for the SeaPROFILER to also track the bottom allows it to be used in moving boat applications as well.

SeaWAVE ADCP

The Rowe Technologies SeaWAVE product family of Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) represent the industry’s state of the art in acoustic Doppler technology. The SeaWAVE ADCP measures wave direction and wave height while also providing full current profile data – even throughout the wave burst interval.

The SeaWAVE simultaneously measures wave spectra, wave direction, and complete current profiles for every ping. The SeaWAVE can also measure current profiles during the wave burst interval, so you can get full velocity profile coverage during your deployment.

The SeaWAVE uses both a vertical beam and a pressure sensor to accurately measure range to the surface. The vertical beam functions similar to an inverted echo sounder providing more accurate, higher frequency wave measurements.

The SeaWAVE wave measurement ADCPs are available in both the direct-read and self-contained configuration.

WaveForceTM Technologies [www.waveforcetechnologies.com], partnered with Rowe Technologies, Inc., offers ocean wave data analysis software packages -- both a real-time and post-processing software suite that interfaces seamlessly with the SeaWAVE ADCP outputs.

SeaPILOT DVLs For AUVs and ROVs

The SeaPILOT 300 kHz, 600 kHz, and 1200 kHz models are Rowe Technology’s most versatile DVLs. They use Rowe’s acoustic Doppler Piston (DP) technology and are well-suited for navigation applications in shallow water or in deep water, down to 6000M. The SeaPILOT’s compact size, extended range, and precision make it an ideal solution for ROVs, AUVs, and other submersible platforms.

SeaPILOT comes in 3 different frequencies (300 kHz, 600 kHz, and 1200 kHz), all configured with Doppler Piston transducers, and available in different depth package options.

Titanium DVL for 6000 m ROV

The SeaPILOT OEM 300 kHz and 600 kHz models are available as an OEM configuration. They offer the same outstanding performance as the standard DVL pack- age, but meet custom packaging requirements as found in small AUVs and submersibles.

SeaPILOT OEM consists of an electronics board stack and four Doppler Piston transducers).Doppler Piston transducers are manufactured as separate elements and are not potted into the AUV housing. This facilitates easy installation and repair (6-inch AUV housing shown with machined “pockets” for the transducers).

SeaSEVEN ADCP

The SeaSEVEN ADCP was developed by the engineers that designed the first Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers, Rowe Technologies presents the SeaSEVEN, research-grade Doppler Profiler. The first coordinated seven-beam profiler on the market.
